Selena Gomez just world premiered her new single “Who Says” on Ryan Seacrest’s morning radio show and when she stopped by his studio she really opened up about why she wanted to do this specific track.
She said that the song is really something she thinks the fans need – The song is for the haters out there. Selena said that in this world of Facebook and twitter, you can get a thousand wonderful comments but just one will throw you off, and that’s how it is for her. Then Ryan asked Selena how old she feels and if she feels her age, to which she answered that she feels 15.
And Ryan, always the resourceful guy, said that was the perfect Segway to ask her how she feels about younger dudes — uh, hello totally a Justin Bieber hint and Selena was so cute and started cracking up. Ryan then brought up who Selena was missing — basically Ryan was referring to Justin Bieber’s tweet. Selena was tight lipped about the whole thing — only saying that it’s nice to miss your friends and family. Overall, Selena was pretty coy about the Justin thing.
