We’re excited to fill you in on the latest star-studded show to hit the Disney Channel. It’s called Prankstars and in the reality show, we hear that uber-fans will get to spend time with their fave celebs, noting that they’ll be put in “humorous situations.” In fact, the first episode is set to air on July 15, featuring Disney big shots like Selena Gomez, Debby Ryan and Mitchel Musso.
It’s actually Mitchel who is on-board as the show’s host, and apparently, he’ll be directing the celebrity guests from an offside van – prob with hidden mics, earphones and cameras – the whole deal. He actually tweeted out a pic today of Selena and him working together. From what we hear, this episode will show SG in a disguise and she gets paired up with a teen girl for a singing commercial audition. We don’t want to give it all away but this definitely looks like a funny show, especially since these teens are super-fans who just so happen to be getting setup by their friends and family. Remember that Prankstars debuts on the Disney Channel this July 15.
