The lyrics are so empowering with a message that basically says “who says” you’re not perfect the way you are, or that you can’t do this or that thing that — and Selena sings out that she wouldn’t want to be anyone else. The song seems aimed at all those judgmental people out there who put you down, but it doesn’t focus on the negative, instead it’s all about positivity saying that everyone has a right to a beautiful life.
